Hotel Chino is located just across the road from the PA Hospital and the nearest hotel to the Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Hospital patient accommodation subsidies can be activated for approved patients on direct bookings.
At Hotel Chino, approved patients can just pay the gap at check-in or you can pay-in-full and apply for a refund with PTSS (Qld) or IPTAAS (NSW).
GST is NOT charged on accommodation at Hotel Chino – a further saving for Hotel Chino guests.

Queensland
Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS)
The Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) provides financial assistance for Queensland patients who are referred to specialist medical Services at the PA Hospital in Brisbane. Eligible patients only pay the gap at check-in. Eg – after qualifying, if the patient and the carer are both accommodated at Hotel Chino, accommodation is subsidised $120/night.*
Depending on the room selected and the length of stay, Hotel Chino will only charge the gap between the subsidy and the hotel rate, which will be minimal.

Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS)
IPTAAS is the Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme. This is a NSW Government scheme providing financial assistance towards travel and accommodation costs when a patient needs to travel for treatment in Qld. Hotel Chino is ideally located for the PA Hospital and the Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Once approved, accommodation for patient and escort is subsidised:
$60 per night for the first 7 nights per financial year
$105 for 8 to 14 nights per financial year
$120 for 15 nights plus per financial year*
