Meet Chef Alex
Our Head Chef Alex delights in meeting guests, and showcases the best Australian produce in his Southern European cooking. Alex is passionate about food. He cooks with love, considerate of keeping the integrity of the fine local produce. Our Tasmanian salmon is house cooked (hot), and our pork roast is beer shocked in the Bavaria way. All our sauces and desserts are made in-house at Chino’s.

Enjoy ice cold tap beers and ciders from boutique local brewers, Stone and Wood and Newstead Brewing. Our wine list features delicious Australian and New Zealand wines, plus French Champagne. Special occasions warrant Charles Heidsieck served icy cold in crystal.

Here at Chino’s we support local. Brisbane’s Abrisca coffee, Le Campagne sour dough breads, free range eggs, sweet corn and zucchini fritters, gourmet burgers, sweet potato chips, great steaks, Queensland seafood and much more. Enjoy a cold beer in our lounge area, while the freshest Queensland barramundi, Victorian lamb or vegetarian delight is prepared for dinner.
Book our River Red Gum table for some beers and burgers. Our large, beautifully crafted river red gum communal high bar will seat all your mates.
